Wrapping it up
Now, it was finally time to put all the pieces together and start this cute little thing up for the first time. I painted the Logitech diNovo Edge keyboard to match the cube, hooked up a 22-inch widescreen display to it and watched it go.
This project has been a really fun one to do, as well as being an extremely fast one from start to finish. Doing a full case build in under a week from the first idea to the finished case is something that I've never done before.
OK, so the case doesn’t have the laser-cut precision... but hey, it's hand made and speed built!
Given the time it took, I must say that I'm very happy with the result. And now I have a little companion that spreads warmth and love all around – and how can that be a bad thing?
I hope you have enjoyed this mini-build as much as I enjoyed building it. This was a fun little side quest and now I'm going to chill out for a few days before I start on my next big project that I have planned. I will leave you with the full specs of the hardware and a big thanks to my sponsors along with the final shots of the little fellow in action.
Until next time, keep those Dremels running long and hard!
